Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a valued Radiologic Technologist with a focus on general imaging and X-ray services. This contract opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) Valid state license, or eligibility to obtain one Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency performing X-rays and general radiologic imaging Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images following physician orders Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with compassion and professionalism Ensure proper safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure Maintain accurate imaging records and input patient data into electronic systems Collaborate with radiologists and physicians regarding patient imaging needs and diagnostic results Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance as needed Uphold confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
