•$50.18/hour + Benefits Position Overview We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Watertown, NY. Under the direction of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist will perform a variety of MRI and radiologic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with Radiologists and the Radiology team. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI and radiologic imaging procedures according to established protocols. Operate MRI and related imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during examinations. Follow all MRI safety and patient safety protocols. Ensure accurate imaging, documentation, and maintenance of patient records. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff. Assist with the overall operations and functions of the Radiology Department. Maintain high standards of image quality and patient care. Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment while performing technical duties. Prioritize patient needs and provide a high-quality patient experience. Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of an AMA-approved 24-month Radiologic Technology program . NYS License in Radiologic Technology required. ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required. ARRT certification in MRI (MR) preferred. Minimum 12 months of MRI experience preferred . NYS IV Contrast certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire . BLS certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire . Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and imaging protocols. Excellent communication, patient-care, and teamwork skills. Ability to work the required evening schedule and weekends.
