Akron City Full-Time, Benefit Eligible Schedule:

40 hrs/wk, Monday - Friday 4p-12:30a, weekend and holiday rotation, Level 1 Trauma

Hire-On Incentive:

Up to $20,000

Summary:

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs. Ensures that all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

Formal Education Required:

a. Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology. b. Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists c. Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.

Experience & Training Required:

a. Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g., select C.T. procedures, etc.).

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

b. Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and hospital employees. c. Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices. Ability to lift and position patients. d. Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification). e. Ability to utilize hospital and radiology computer system and file system. f.

Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
