Apply today to learn more!•Legal Entity Alliance Community Hospital Position Summary The CT Technologist works under the direction of a radiologist, performs the specific section procedures with high quality. The CT Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply the imaging equipment for production of high-quality images. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as requested. Department Summary The imaging department provides diagnostic CT imaging services within the health care facility to patients in need. Qualifications ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. ODH License. Maintain current licenses and certifications as required. Complete and adhere to knowledge gained through annual employee education. Ability to operate equipment within the department. Obtain and maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required. Department Qualifications Skills Comfortable speaking and communicating with colleagues and patients. Ability to meet and interact with the public in a mature, courteous, and professional manner. Detail oriented. Communicate effectively. Adaptability to changing work environment or needs. Computer, keyboard skills preferred. Department Skills Responsibilities & Expectations Identify each patient and review physician orders for accuracy. Properly position patients for high image quality. Medical record documentation in HIS and RIS or systems required per department. Review each examination for quality. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies. Communicate pertinent information to supervisor or responsible individual. Explain exams/procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns. Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
