MONDAY-FRIDAY 10AM-6PM

Duties:

Perform routine x-rays with proper positioning and exposure following ALARA concept Complete all x-ray orders Copy x-ray CD's Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed X-ray technician is expected to perform routine duties with minimal supervision and instruction. All licenses, certifications and CME are to be kept current by the x-ray technician. Ability to operate and maintain radiology equipment Ability to operate and maintain basic office equipment such as telephone, copier, fax machine, type writer and computer. This position will also assist in rooming patients. This includes obtaining prior medical history, chief complaints, vitals, and assisting in other clinical duties.

Valid ARRT and ODH License, and CPR Experience:

Previous experience as an X-ray Technician in an ER or urgent care setting is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
