Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare environment and showcase your expertise in imaging as an experienced X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for professionals passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence.
Schedule:
5x8-hour evening shifts (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
Qualifications:
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with the (R) designation Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience performing X-ray imaging in a clinical or hospital setting Strong understanding of radiation safety and best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction Ability to adapt quickly to a new work environment and operate advanced imaging equipment
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality X-ray images to assist in patient diagnoses and treatment planning Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility protocols and regulatory guidelines Safeguard all equipment by following routine maintenance and safety checks Uphold confidentiality and compassionate communication throughout the imaging process
