Desired Skills & Qualifications:
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with specialized training or certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) Minimum two years of recent experience as an IR Tech in an acute care or hospital setting Proficiency in sterile technique, image-guided procedures, and contrast administration Strong patient-focused communication and problem-solving skills Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under physician direction Ensure high-quality images and proper documentation for all studies Prepare and position patients with attention to safety and comfort Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to optimize workflow Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, and ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety regulations
