BREAST CENTER TECHNOLOGIST
(MAMMOGRAPHY) At Southwest General, our Breast Center focuses on making it as convenient and comfortable as possible for women in the local Cleveland area to seek preventive care for optimal breast health. Its hours of operation are Monday
  • Wednesday 7:15 a.m.
  • 6:30 p.m., Thursday
  • Friday 7:15 a.m.
  • 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:00 a.m.
  • noon.

POSITION SUMMARY
The mammography technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms along with stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, aspirations, and other breast procedures. The technologist will be responsible for QC for all units and workstations and any other necessary tasks related to the department operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Graduation from a 2-year accredited Radiologic Technology school required, including completion of mammography training to meet MQSA and ACR requirements. Required length and type of experience: One (1) year of hospital experience preferred. Required licensure, certification or registry: Registered with the ARRT, including mammography certification Current compliance for MQSA and ACR Current BCLS certification R.T. (R) (M) with the state of Ohio
