• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
• Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered.

• Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including MR scanners, power injectors, and various computers.

Answers phones and arranges schedule for in-patient request Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and coworkers

• Must meet one of the following educational pathways
• Pathway 1 (ARRT Pathway): Associate degree with completion of an accredited 2 ‑ year Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program. (Required) or
• Pathway 2 (MRI/ARDMS/NMTCB Pathway): Associate degree with completion of a primary track in MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography. (Required) Experience Qualifications
• MR scanning experience. (Preferred) and Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of sterile and surgical procedures. (Required proficiency)
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment . (Required proficiency)
• Knowledge of radiology information systems. (Required proficiency)
• Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machine and emergency equipment. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications
• Any of the following: Registered Technologist Radiology (ARRT-R), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T), Registered ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

• Must meet one of the following post-hire certification pathways.

• Pathway 2 (MRI/ARDMS/NMTCB Pathway): ARDMS or NMTCB registration (Upon Hire) AND Registered Technologist MRI (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) (Required Within 6 Months of hire or transfer) and meets education
