Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an advanced medical imaging environment where your experience as an Imaging CT and CT/PET Technologist will have a meaningful impact on patient care. This contract opportunity features a 3x12 schedule working nights from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, offering a predictable routine and the chance to truly hone your skills in CT and PET technology.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a CT and CT/PET Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency with modern CT and PET imaging equipment Detailed understanding of radiographic safety protocols and HIPAA compliance Experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, critical care situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with physicians, patients, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for procedures Review imaging orders for accuracy and verify patient identification Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after imaging Maintain accurate documentation and image records as required by facility standards Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure optimal imaging outcomes Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control protocols
