CT/XR Technologist CT Tech who will also work X-ray Our hospital team works closely together, helps each other, and takes exceptional care of our patients. Every Tuesday and Thursday; & every 3 rd SundayJOB SUMMARY
Operates both Diagnostic X-Ray, CT and all related equipment. Performs data manipulation and processing. Thoroughly explains and educates patients about procedures. Consistently produces motion-free reproducible diagnostic images. Performs venipuncture. Reinforces patient compliance issues throughout the exam. Performs exams per protocol. Screens patients for contraindications to intravenous contrast infusion. Uses good judgment and discretion by consulting with radiologist when appropriate. Processes, networks and films images, prepares room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. Transports and transfers patients. Accurately completes all necessary paperwork and information for the patients medical record. Provides compassionate patient care. Works consistently to improve customer satisfacation.QUALIFICATIONS
Graduated from a JCERT approved Radiological Technology training program with at least one year clinical experience Current ARRT (CT) registry card on file or ARRT (R) registered and is actively pursuing CT advanced certification Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hirePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel Demonstrates adequate vision or correctable glass to read, write, and evaluate medical images Able to hear or correctable with hearing devices and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone Able to hear, see and feel to accurately observe, monitor and administer care Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e. operate imaging equipment, develop film, venipuncture)Similar remote jobs
