Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled healthcare imaging professional is needed for a contract assignment specializing in Computed Tomography (CT). In this vital role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality scans and patient comfort throughout the process. This position provides you the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare environment American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification In-depth knowledge of radiology safety standards and proper imaging techniques Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct CT scans as ordered by referring providers, adhering to established protocols and safety procedures Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to assure comfort and compliance Review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy before submitting for interpretation Maintain and inspect imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions Document patient data and scan information accurately within hospital systems Comply with all HIPAA, departmental, and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient privacy and facility standards This contract opportunity offers exposure to a busy imaging department, the chance to further develop your technical skills, and the ability to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
