3:00 PM•11:30 PM Job Summary The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and delivering exceptional patient care in an acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong radiography skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT Certification required. Active Oregon Radiologic License required (or eligibility to obtain). Current BLS Certification. Minimum 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred. Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders. Position patients accurately to obtain quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and effectively. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards. Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide compassionate care. Maintain imaging records and transfer studies as required. Participate in departmental quality assurance and safety initiatives. Respond to on-call requirements as assigned.
