Job Description

AS A MAMMOGRAPHY
TECHNICIAN, you will support the Breast Care Services Center be performing mammograms. You will be reporting to the Manager of the Women's Imaging Department. The Technician will work closely under the direction of the Radiologist and will perform mammography exams and breast procedures while following ALARA guidelines. The Technician will inform patients of the importance of breast cancer awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiological Technology required Current ARRT Registration required within 1 year of hire Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) knowledge preferred Good reasoning and communication skills with patients
