Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging with an exciting opportunity as an MRI Technician. This contract role offers the chance to utilize your specialized MRI skills in a dynamic healthcare environment, working alongside experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT (MR) certification required. Minimum of one year's experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting. Proficiency in imaging protocols, safety standards, and operation of MRI equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Schedule:
Contract-based position; specific shifts to be discussed during the interview process.Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. Prepare and position patients while providing clear instructions and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Operate MRI machinery, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and maintain equipment cleanliness. Accurately document patient information, imaging records, and relevant procedure details. Adhere to all established safety guidelines related to magnetic fields and contrast agents. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff in a team-focused environment to support smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes.Benefits:
