Position Summary The Multi-specialty Technologist provides imaging services to patients and physicians to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of conditions. Assists with the performance of diagnostic and technical procedures including but not limited to percutaneous diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures in both radiology and IR. A Multi-specialty Imaging Technologist is regularly scheduled to work in two of the following the modalities: Radiology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Imaging. Location (e.g. remote or on-site): Onsite DHS Background Study Required?

Yes License/Certification/Registration:

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Current Basic Life Support CPR Certification (BLS) required

Education:

• Associates Degree in Radiology or the equivalent required

Experience:

• 1-2 years Radiology experience required
• 1-3 years of modality-specific experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred

• Analytical ability sufficient to evaluate data, make judgments and recommendations.
• Possess knowledge of specific radiology modality procedures and their application to the pediatric population and continuing throughout the stages of life; possess knowledge of ultrasound procedures and their application to the pediatric population.
• Physical ability and stamina (bending, standing, squatting, lifting, transferring and standing for extended periods of time) sufficient to be able to manage busy workload with patients of varying ages, diagnoses, and ability to cooperate.

Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
