Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging with this exciting contract opportunity focused on mammography. Utilize your specialized skills and work with leading-edge Hologic equipment to deliver outstanding patient care and diagnostic expertise.
Schedule:
13-week contract Four 10-hour day shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday No weekend or on-call requirements
Qualifications:
Valid and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ARRT(M) registration as a Mammography Technologist Active Rhode Island state license (RI License) Experience with mammographic procedures and a strong working knowledge of Hologic equipment is highly desirable Detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare team members and support patients throughout their experience
Responsibilities:
Perform mammography examinations using Hologic imaging equipment, following industry protocols and safety standards Ensure accurate patient identification, explain procedures, and provide support to minimize anxiety and enhance comfort Maintain detailed, accurate records and complete all imaging documentation Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes Uphold infection control and patient safety measures in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Participate in ongoing quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities This role offers the opportunity to enhance your professional skills, work with technologically advanced systems, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
