Job Description
WellStar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you'll operate radiologic equipment, follow physician orders, and ensure accurate imaging while prioritizing safety and comfort. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in a fast-paced, compassionate environment, maintaining strict radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic exams according to physician orders and protocols Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and effectively Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, self, and staff Verify patient identity, history, and exam details; document accurately in EMR/PACSCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to support care plans Monitor patients during procedures and respond to basic clinical needs Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards Adhere to regulatory, accreditation, and HIPAA requirements Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives Required Skills Diagnostic radiography X-ray equipment operation Radiation safety Patient positioning Anatomy and physiology knowledge
