Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in a respected healthcare environment by utilizing your expertise in Interventional Radiology as an IR Tech. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting physicians with image-guided procedures, delivering high-quality patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the imaging department.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with IR experience Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required Current BLS certification (through the American Heart Association or equivalent) Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume clinical setting preferred Detailed understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and sterile technique Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with invasive and non-invasive interventional radiology procedures Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, angiography, and related modalities Ensure proper patient positioning, monitoring, and safety before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance reports Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations Enjoy the opportunity to gain valuable experience while providing excellent care to patients in a dynamic environment.
