Job Description

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams in our urgent care clinics. In this fast-paced, patient-first environment, you will safely position patients, operate digital imaging equipment, follow radiation safety and infection-control protocols, and ensure accurate image capture and documentation in
PACS/EMR.
You will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, efficient care across diverse urgent and occupational health cases while benefiting from structured training, career growth, and comprehensive HCA benefits. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic exams for urgent care patients following physician orders and protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort through proper identification, positioning, shielding, and radiation safety practices. Operate and maintain X-ray and imaging equipment, troubleshooting basic technical issues as needed. Accurately document procedures and upload images to
PACS/EMR
systems in a timely manner. Collaborate with providers, nurses, and clinic staff to support efficient, patient-centered urgent care workflows. Follow infection control standards, clinic policies, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and competency development within Care Now and HCA Healthcare. Required Skills Diagnostic radiography Operating digital X-ray equipment Patient positioning and immobilization Radiation safety and ALARA practices Image quality assessment and PACS use Clinical documentation in EMRInfection control and PPE use Venipuncture or IV contrast support (as allowed) Basic life support (BLS) Patient communication and customer service
