What We Offer Join Novant Health as we expand access to exceptional care with the opening of our new Summers Corner Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team while working in a dynamic acute care environment that offers exposure to a wide variety of advanced imaging procedures and patient populations. The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in regional multi-ICU trauma medical center locations. The technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc. The technologist must possess the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities.
What We're Looking For Education :
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
Experience :
One year experience in CT, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NH Medical Center•Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT•RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire.
Certified and registered:
by ARRT in CT•RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or
CNMT, RT
(CT) within 6 months of hire, required. Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
