Job Description
What We Offer Join Novant Health as we expand access to exceptional care with the opening of our new Summers Corner Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team while working in a dynamic acute care environment that offers exposure to a wide variety of advanced imaging procedures and patient populations. The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in regional multi-ICU trauma medical center locations. The technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc. The technologist must possess the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities.
