Job Description
Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to support a busy imaging department. In this contract role, you will perform MRI procedures and provide high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation, working closely with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting Current BLS certification Proficient in operating state-of-the-art MRI equipment and adhering to safety standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safetyRole Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to appropriate staff Follow all facility policies, including infection control and privacy guidelines Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver efficient patient care Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the procedure Assist in maintaining inventory and replenishing supplies as neededBenefits Include:
