This role seeks a professional with a strong background in imaging, specifically as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required) Valid state license as applicable Proven experience in interventional radiology imaging Strong knowledge of IR procedures and protocols Excellent communication skills and patient-focused demeanor Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with maintaining and operating specialized IR equipment BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures Operate fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and other imaging equipment with precision Maintain sterile techniques and ensure patient safety at all times Document all procedures and updates in patient records accurately Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate as needed Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families prior to, during, and after procedures Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards in the imaging suite Enjoy the benefits of working in a professional atmosphere committed to advancing patient care.
