1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of recent MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 13-week assignment at a Level Two Trauma Center. Details Acute care setting within a 425-bed Level Two Trauma Center and Stroke Certification Hospital MRI department with 3 scanners: GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T Serves adult and pediatric patients across outpatient, inpatient, critical care, and ER settings Utilizes
SECTRA PACS
system and VRAD night service Uses EPIC for electronic charting Day/evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Saturday coverage every 3rd weekend, with possible holiday coverage No floating outside of the MRI department Requirements Minimum 5 years of recent MRI experience required Current BLS certification required ARRT (MR) certification required License required if applicable Proficient in Neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging Experience with GE Architect equipment required Experience with
SECTRA PACS
system required Able to work independently and perform MRI studies on all body parts Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations required Additional Information Perform MRI studies on outpatients, inpatients, critical care, and ER patients, including pediatric cases, covering all body parts Orientation includes 3 day shifts followed by 2-3 night shifts as needed Gray scrubs required All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility Accepts local candidates within 80 miles of the facility
