PRN Rad Tech

Job Description

• Carries out radiology requisitions and views. Uses radiographic technique, PACS, and assists other staff members as needed.
•  Operates all portables and C-Arm equipment.
•  Memorizes what views each physician requires on exams.
•  Assists patients in getting into the positions required to get the radiographs needed with the occasional need to lift the patient.
•  Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

Skills and Requirements Experience:

Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of course work in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT certification & current TN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of radiographic technique
• Knowledge of PACS
• Orthopedic experience
