1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT-R and TX state license (or compact) required for consideration. Details Work in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings within a teaching and community hospital environment Perform high volume of general
CT, CTA, CT
Perfusion, and CT Cardiac studies Utilize Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One CT scanners Must be comfortable performing perfusion scanning for stroke and trauma patients Responsible for transporting patients as needed Block schedule Tuesday-Friday, 4x10 evening shift from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Requirements Minimum of 1 year CT Technologist experience required ARRT-R and BLS certifications required TX state or compact license required (license required if applicable) CMRT certification preferred Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required Epic charting experience preferred Proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media Skilled in starting peripheral IVs, with venipuncture experience preferred Experience with abdomen, pelvis, and chest imaging with and without contrast Comfortable working in a high-paced clinical environment Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Facility does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Onboarding modules are completed onsite during orientation
