X-ray Tech

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as directed by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition
• Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

• Previous experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role preferred
• Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Familiarity with various imaging techniques
• Knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure infection control in sterile environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
• Strong understanding of physiology to accurately interpret images
