POSITION SUMMARY
We ae seeking a Limited Radiologic Technologist with Medical Assistant (MA) skills to join our Urgent Care Team.
General Accountabilities:
Prepare patient for x-ray, explain procedures to patient and/or family, prepare room, equipment, and materials needed. Measure vital signs, takes brief historic past medical, family and social history, current medications, allergies, and other pertinent historical information and record information in EMR. Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination. Assist the Physician/Medical Providers with procedures. Perform Diagnostic test including EKG, eye exams, pulse ox, audiogram, and respiratory fit test. Perform CLIA-waived lab test and collect, label and process specimens for send-out. Perform both DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing (BAT), using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to the appropriate laboratory. Remove sutures/staples and change sterile and non-sterile dressings. Participate in Quality Improvement and Mandatory education/training programs Assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house la work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs Participate in Quality Improvement and mandatory education/training programs. Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality Performs additional duties as required

Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to demonstrate competency in all applicable areas. Ability to deal with fast paced, high stressed and high demand work environment May work varying shifts and with varying providers Maintains a clean environment inside facility Able to relate to and work with patents and families of all ages and backgrounds Manage difficult or emotional patient situations, respond promptly to patient needs
Qualifications:
Active LMRT license Currently BLS certification Ability to deal with fast paced, high stressed and high demand work environment May work varying shifts and with varying providers Work Environment; Perform duties of this job while working in an indoor healthcare environment, working with a moderate noise level, working with protentional exposure to bloodborne pathogens and diseases with a requirement to wear appropriate PPE. The ability to stand for extended periods May work varying shifts and with varying providers Schedule 12-hour shift 8-hour shift Holidays Monday-Friday Rotating weekends Work Location in person
