Job Description

Where You'll Work St. Joseph Health has been caring for the communities in and surrounding the Brazos Valley since 1936 (Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville (TX)). St. Joseph has a Level III Trauma Center, the first Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and the first accredited Chest Pain Center in the Brazos Valley. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family. Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care. Produces quality radiographic images to support patient care activities Communicates effectively with patients and their families about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information and to offer reassurance. Maintains awareness of and practices established radiation safety standards in carrying out duties. Establishes and maintains lines of communication with all other staff members and Radiologists to ensure an effective and harmonious working environment. •Relocation assistance available to eligible candidates• Job Requirements Required Completed an accredited Radiology program One (1) year experience in
Radiology Medical Radiographer:
TX, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days Once of the following: Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry Registered Technologist Computed Tomography Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography Registered Technologist Mammography Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology Registered Technologist Quality Management Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography Preferred Associates of Scince in Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
