1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required proficiency on Philips or Siemens equipment for an acute care hospital MRI department in College Station, TX. Details Acute care hospital MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations in clinic and hospital settings Single modality position — not expected to cover CT or X-Ray duties Department has 1-2 MRI scanners per location Common studies include MSK, neuro, and body scans Average of 10 scans per day Philips and Siemens MRI equipment used; experience on either is required 1.5T MRI equipment experience required IV placement and creatinine draws are part of the role

Synapse 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with a 7:30 AM start Rotational on-call required: one week per month (5:00 PM-6:00 AM M-F, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday) Holiday coverage is on a rotational on-call basis May float between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart, as needed 12-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience Current BLS (AHA) certification required ARRT (MR) certification required Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required — license required if applicable Active state license required; pending licenses will not be accepted Hands-on experience with Philips and/or Siemens MRI equipment is required Experience with 1.5T MRI equipment required Experience with implanted devices required Ability to perform IV starts and creatinine draws 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Performs MSK, neuro, and body MRI scans for inpatient and outpatient populations Radiologist is on-site at hospital locations Non-supervisory MRI Tech position; no RRAs used in the department May be asked to precept staff as needed Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided Rad badge (dosimeter) is not required for this position 12-hour orientation period Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may result in termination Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
