Job Description

Crown Imaging is a family-owned and operated 11,000 sf imaging center, offering 2 MRIs, CT, Nuc Med, X-Ray/Fluro, Ultrasound / Echo and Bone Density scans. We are in need of a skilled X-ray Tech to join our awesome team. The existing Tech is beginning his MRI training onsite and will be training his replacement for X-Ray. We offer a relaxed but dedicated Team approach with other staff who are committed to excellence. This translates to low stress and an organized workflow for you. There are 1 or 2 ARRTs on site as well who can assist or answer questions. Additionally, a radiologist is onsite every day for consulting on any patient.
Scheduled Hours:
Daytime hours only, Monday thru Friday working 8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch. NO Call
  • NO Evenings
  • NO Weekends
  • NO Holidays Duties Perform X-ray examinations, including fluoroscopy.
myelograms, arthrograms and bone density. Paramedics and a Patient Coordinator are bringing patients back and prepping them and changing them into a gown if required. This allows you to focus on scanning and patient care. Setting up trays for proceduresexplaining the process to patients prior to the exam. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards for medical imaging. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information in the RIS System. Review images for quality and ensure all images and documentation is accurately captured. Assist in the compliance for both ACR and State Radiation control requirements. Participate in ongoing education to stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology. Willingness to assist other clinical staff with duties such as helping prep patients for their scans and assisting the CT Tech as needed. Each Tech is also responsible for making their CD's as needed. Qualifications Certification as an ARRT from an accredited program. NCT/LMT is not applicable for this position. Proficient in performing X-rays (procedures are something we train you on). 2 years of X-Ray experience, preferred. GE system experience a plus. Current CPR required. Excellent patient care. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are necessary for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Must be committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
Pay Rate:
Final Starting pay is based on: Experience, Work History and your interview. Additionally, if you take on more tasks such as RSO, the more you will be paid. Your pay rate change is heavily based on your efforts to expand your value to the company, rather on your tenure.
Benefits:
PTO/Vacation is accrued from your start date. A full year of employment generates 80 hours per year. In addition, we pay you for all major holidays that fall during the week. This is an additional 6-7 days a year, including the day after Thanksgiving! Please take the time to check us out.
