This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in diagnostic radiology, emergency medicine, and various imaging modalities, ensuring accurate diagnostics and optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiologic procedures, supporting clinical workflows, and maintaining strict radiation safety protocols within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will help us uphold the highest standards of medical imaging excellence. Responsibilities Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety standards Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing ultrasound (sonography), diagnostic radiology techniques, and other advanced imaging modalities to assist in accurate patient diagnosis Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging procedures Assist in emergency room settings and Level I/II trauma centers by providing urgent care imaging support for trauma patients requiring rapid diagnostics Support patient care by preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and regulatory requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective diagnostic evaluation and ensure seamless workflow in high-pressure environments such as emergency medicine settings Experience Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, mammography systems, DEXA scanners, PET scans, nuclear medicine equipment, and interventional radiology tools Prior work in urgent care centers or emergency room environments demonstrating ability to perform under pressure Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and implementing radiation safety measures during all procedures Familiarity with medical terminology related to radiology and anatomy for accurate image acquisition and interpretation support Hands-on experience with diagnostic radiology techniques including fluoroscopy, ultrasound (sonography), nuclear medicine procedures, and interventional radiography techniques Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards Strong understanding of physiology relevant to diagnostic evaluation across various body systems This role is paid and offers a rewarding opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to make a difference through expert imaging services.
