Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team in North Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment, utilizing advanced imaging technology to improve patient outcomes. Applicants should possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and excellent patient care abilities. Duties Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring optimal image quality. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining proper positioning. Apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Review patient history and medical terminology to accurately interpret imaging requests. Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned according to safety standards. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
