Know Your Team:
UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, a wound healing center, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Regsitry eligible candidates must obtain MRI registry within one year of hire and maintain active certification throughout employment. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Proficiency in operating MRI scanners Ability to start IV lines and administer contrast media, including knowledge of contrast reactions and appropriate interventions
