Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in our urgent care facility. You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety while providing high-quality imaging services. Your expertise will contribute significantly to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. Duties Perform radiographic procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Operate radiologic equipment effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient needs and imaging results. Administer basic life support as needed during procedures. Monitor patient vital signs throughout the imaging process. Ensure compliance with medical terminology, ICD coding, and intake procedures. Assist in medication administration when required, particularly in inpatient settings. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and answering questions regarding the imaging process. Skills The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to radiology. Experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks within a clinical environment. Proficiency in handling patients across various demographics including geriatrics and pediatrics (PICU). Experience working in both Level I and Level II trauma centers, as well as outpatient clinics. Understanding of medical-surgical practices and internal medicine protocols. Ability to perform X-ray procedures efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
