DESCRIPTION

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Required:

Graduate of accredited Imaging Program or graduate of a military Radiologic imaging program or documented equivalency.

Preferred:

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree

Experience:

1-3 years

Certifications:

Required:

ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire. AHA BLS. State license if required

Preferred:

ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
