06:30 AM•05:00 PM | 42Hours/Week Rotating Day Off Each Week On-Call:
12-14 Days/Month (30-minute emergency response required) We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment in a Level II Trauma Center Neuro Interventional Radiology department. The role involves assisting physicians in complex vascular and neuro-interventional procedures, including stroke interventions, in a high-acuity environment.Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during Neuro IR and vascular interventional procedures Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and imaging equipment Scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional procedures Operate fluoroscopy and interventional imaging equipment Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards Monitor patient condition during procedures Assist with stroke intervention and emergency Neuro IR workflows Maintain accurate procedural documentation and imaging records Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and procedural teams Support on-call emergency procedures with rapid response Perform equipment checks and report technical issues promptlyRequirements:
Minimum 2-5 years Neuro IR experience required Strong stroke intervention experience required Vascular and interventional radiology experience required Ability to work independently in high-acuity procedural environment required Excellent communication and teamwork skills required English proficiency requiredRequired Certifications:
ARRT required BLS requiredPreferred:
