Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the provision of radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders. Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous work experience in hospital environment preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible within 90 days of hire. Current certification with the Texas Medical Board. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required. Valid Drivers' license and reliable transportation necessary as driving between campuses is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of positioning, radiation safety and quality patient care. Ability quality images in a timely manner.
