Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Professionals skilled in CT and X-ray imaging are needed for an engaging contract opportunity as a Radiologic Technologist. This position offers a rotating schedule, providing both day and night shifts for a well-rounded experience and optimal work-life balance.
Schedule/Hours:
Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM One overnight shift per month: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 1-2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required Advanced certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred Valid, unrestricted state license as a Radiologic Technologist 1+ year of hands-on experience in CT and X-ray/imaging procedures Proven proficiency with imaging equipment and digital PACS Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered Accurately position patients and explain procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members Maintain equipment, inventory, and ensure adherence to cleanliness and infection control standards Accurately document procedures and support timely reporting Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or technical issues Rotate through various shifts and participate in weekend and occasional overnight coverage
