Job Description
GENERAL Position Overview Responsible for performing radiological examinations, computed tomography scans, and two dimensional (2D) ultrasonic recordings of internal organs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Graduate of an accredited Radiology education program under the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs (CAAHEP) or equivalent required. Successful completion of an approved course in general sonography. Experience Previous radiology experience including CT and Ultrasound highly desired. Knowledge Of Current trends and techniques of X-Ray Technology, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; anatomy and physiology.
Licenses / Certifications
/ Registries Current Texas Medical Board - Medical Radiologic Technologist license; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) certification is required. American Registry of Radiology Technologists, RT (C) registry eligible/certification completed or CT experience preferred. OTHERS Personality / Interpersonal Skills Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care. Employment Type Part-time weekends only. 7am-7pm
