Work Location:
1545 E Southlake Blvd, Suite 200 Southlake, TX 76092
Work Hours:
PRN/As Needed during normal business operating hours of 7:15am-4:30pm and 1-2 Saturdays per month required. The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
Department/Center Highlights:
ACR certified in Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy Excellent Work-Life Balance Cohesive and Friendly Environment Here is what you will need: Texas Medical Board License - TMB Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience. Completion of a two-year approved
School of Radiologic Technology Continuing Education:
MQSA/FDA- 15
CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years. Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred. A Day in the Life of a
Mammography Technologist:
Provide services and support for the following areas: Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique; Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health; Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions; Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills Why Solis Mammography?
