Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with a rotating day off each week
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, routine, and specialized interventional radiographic procedures following strict safety protocols Serve as a key liaison between patients, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and patient-centered care Adhere to radiation safety and protection guidelines for yourself, patients, and colleagues Prepare, administer, and document medications and contrast agents per state and policy requirements Demonstrate in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Assess contraindications and patient readiness prior to procedures; verify identity, pregnancy, and informed consent Maintain safe, hazard-free environments and manage room inventory for optimal workflow Support student and staff training through education, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives Engage in ongoing professional development and performance assessment
Desired Background:
ARRT certification (required) Texas Medical Board (TMB) registration (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Vascular-Interventional (VI) certification (preferred) Prior IR experience; pediatric imaging strongly preferred
