Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a key role supporting patient care by leveraging your expertise in MRI imaging. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about precise diagnostics and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic clinical environment. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to perform high-quality MRI scans, ensuring accurate and timely results for physicians and patients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification in MRI technology (ARRT (MR) or equivalent) Recent hands-on experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting Comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures Strong patient communication and comfort skills Ability to adapt to evolving clinical workflows and technologies Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities BLS certification (current or attainable prior to start date)
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining each step to ensure comfort and safety Monitor patients throughout exams, promptly addressing any concerns or reactions Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in electronic medical systems Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver coordinated patient care Maintain compliance with HIPAA, facility policies, and infection control standards This position offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a reputable healthcare environment and make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
