Full Job Description Role Overview:
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI to perform imaging exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain quality standards. The role involves operating MRI equipment, reviewing images, adhering to safety protocols, and providing patient education and comfort.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain ARRT or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification. Perform MRI exams, ensure image quality, and follow department protocols. Assist and instruct students and colleagues on procedures and equipment. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification, while practicing infection control. Accurately document procedures and adhere to coding, reporting, and quality assurance protocols.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and MRI safety. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks. Manual dexterity and physical ability to transfer patients and handle equipment. Experience in trauma hospital settings preferred. 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience is required.Additional Details:
Full-time position, variable shifts, not benefit-eligible. May participate in on-call rotations. Location in Murray, Utah, with potential travel across multiple healthcare facilities. Physical requirements include frequent patient interaction, lifting, standing, and manual dexterity.
