Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Qualifications:
Registered with ARRT (CT) or equivalent credential for CT/PET technologist Demonstrated proficiency in performing both CT and PET/CT examinations Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Experience with quality control procedures and radiation safety standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and patient care skills Current BLS certificationResponsibilities:
Operate CT and PET/CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring understanding and comfort Accurately position patients and administer contrast agents when necessary Monitor patient safety and maintain adherence to infection control measures Analyze images for technical quality, coordinating with radiologists as needed Document scans, maintain accurate records, and update electronic health information systems Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues Follow all regulatory guidelines and facility protocols This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology while advancing your expertise in a supportive healthcare environment.
