Job Summary and Qualifications Demonstrates ability to obtain quality CT images and to perform CT Studies. Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely. Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations. Render patient care in professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol. Prepare CT scanner and perform quality control tests. Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images. Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to policy and procedure. Completes and maintains educational requirements What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED

Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.

PREFERRED

At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist

REQUIRED

Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION

American Registry of Radiologic Technology

AART - CT

Technology within 6 months of start BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross
