Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Make a difference by contributing your expertise as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this contract position, you'll work alongside skilled professionals to deliver high-quality patient care through advanced imaging services and IR procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required Certification or proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist Proficiency in all aspects of IR imaging, including procedures and safety protocols Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment, contrast media, and sterile techniques Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of IR procedures, including but not limited to angiography, vascular access, biopsies, and drainages Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Assist radiologists and other physicians during minimally invasive interventions Prepare and care for patients before, during, and after IR procedures Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedures and patient records Collaborate effectively with other departments and staff to ensure coordinated, quality care Professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail will excel in this role.
