Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Imaging Technologist with a solid background in both CT and PET/CT to deliver high-quality patient imaging in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Qualifications:
Experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment independently ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent required Current state licensure as applicable Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Ability to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients, physicians, and team members
Schedule:
Flexible work hours tailored to departmental needs 40 hours per week, with occasional opportunities for overtime as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform CT and PET imaging procedures following departmental protocols Evaluate images for clarity, correct positioning, and diagnostic quality Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety policies and preparing patients for imaging Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as required Document all patient information accurately in electronic health records Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
