We are a high-volume practice with an excellent team of dedicated professionals whose purpose is to provide the very best medical care to the patients we serve. We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and skilled X-Ray Technician. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise in imaging modalities, including X-ray will contribute to exceptional patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about diagnostic radiology and patient-centered service to make a meaningful impact every day. Duties Operate radiologic imaging equipment. Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety procedures and implement radiation protection protocols for patients and staff. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam. Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies correctly according to guidelines. Labeling images and sleeves correctly when making these copies; Understanding the x-ray and processing equipment so that it will be used correctly; Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork; Ensuring the safety of patients when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment; Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment calibration records. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret images and support diagnostic evaluation with precise image quality. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively. Ability to perform advanced imaging techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting imaging systems. Cleaning work area, biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines and other maintenance assignments as directed; Receiving, moving, and restocking ordered supplies; Adhering to established Patient First policies and procedures; Addressing physician and nurse requests with respect and in a timely manner; Completing the tasks listed on the checklists for the x-ray area and treatment area; Attending training classes and staff meetings as scheduled;
