1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years of experience to support Main Radiology, ED, and Orthopedic Clinics at a 450-bed acute care hospital in Winchester, VA. Details Position is based in the Main Radiology department, with coverage extending to the ED and Orthopedic Clinics 450-bed acute care hospital setting Orthopedic, general radiology, and emergency department patient populations Procedures include x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, orthopedic exams, and emergency exams in the
ED EMR:
Epic 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Rotating weekends every 4 weeks No on-call requirements 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience Current BLS certification (AHA only) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date ARRT certification required VA state license required if applicable Epic EMR experience preferred US SSN required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Perform x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, orthopedic exams, and emergency imaging in support of Main Radiology, the ED, and Orthopedic Clinics Scrub color: Caribbean Blue, per Valley Health dress code policy Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
